I'm using one of these for an engine oil cooler on my 1984 Mustang GT street/HPDE car. The fit and finish on it is excellent, and the stacked plate design is extremely efficient at cooling while offering very little flow resistance. My oil is plumbed with all -10AN teflon line, with the cooler in line after the external filter mount.While I didn't have an oil temperature gauge, I can say that the coolant temps have seen a significant benefit from it and rarely creep much over thermostat temp now. The most noticeable change was the temp of the valve covers which beforehand were too hot to even think about touching after the engine had been running hard. Now, they're still hot but not to the point where you nearly need a skin graft after brushing up against one. I did a lot of research beforehand, and believed this size versus price versus construction type was the best for my application. I don't regret my decision at all, and highly recommend it.
