Tundra 65 CoolerMeet the original YETI the Tundra. This was our baby. Where it all started. Where we took our frustrations with cheap coolers and over-engineered the hell out of them. We ended up creating a whole new category of coolers with legendary toughness and famed ice retention. And now we make the rugged, all-purpose Tundra in enough sizes to fit any outdoor adventure. There’s a good bit of its DNA in all the other gear we make too, in the form of patented and envied innovations. We’re proud to see the Tundra has grown up to be the father of all coolers.NeverFail Hinge System: Two hinge pins and interlocking design prevent the hinge from ever breaking.T-Rex Lid Latches: Patented design uses heavy-duty rubber so you'll never see another busted latch.Certified Bear-Resistant FatWall Design: Extra-thick walls hold up to three inches of insulation for unmatched ice retention.ColdLock Gasket: A freezer-quality gasket circles the length of the lid to block out the heat and lock in the cold.LipGrip Handles Stay out of the way and make carrying your catch seem less of a chore.DoubleHaul Handles Made with military-grade polyester rope for extra durability.Rotomolded Construction: Makes it armored to the core and virtually indestructible.BearFoot Non-Slip Feet: Prevent sliding to keep your YETI in place.Vortex Drain System: Leakproof, rugged, and designed for quick and easy draining.PermaFrost Insulation: Pressure-injected commercial-grade polyurethane foam in the walls and lid makes sure your ice stays ice.InterLock Lid System: Creates a form-fitting barrier against the heat.AnchorPoint Tie-Down Slots: Molded tie-down slots for easy mounting to your boat, trailer, or truck bed.
The YETI Tundra 65 is just as adept at keeping your catches cold in the field as it is storing the drinks and food for your backyard barbecue, this ice chest is plenty roomy, holding a limit of redfish or your prized brisket
Ice stays ice thanks to up to 3 inches of PermaFrost Insulation and an extra thick FatWall design is certified Bear-Resistant
The Rotomolded Construction makes the Tundra armored to the core and virtually indestructible so wherever you decide to take it, this portable cooler’s sturdy construction will stand up to the rigors of the journey
All Tundra coolers feature T-Rex Lid Latches constructed of heavy-duty rubber so you’ll never see another busted latch and has patented keeper technology
The Tundra 65 dimensions are 30 1/2 in long x 17 1/2 in wide x 16 in high with an empty weight of 29 lbs NOTE: All Tundra models come standard with one dry goods basket.
After 4 days in the hot sun we took the adult beverages out (the few that were left anyway) and the ice isn’t even melted. If you’re having doubts don’t! Best cooler ever.Keeps items cold for a long time.I used this cooler for the first time last weekend camping in 80° degree weather. I left on Thursday and came home on Sunday and only had to buy one bag of ice. Everything stays much cooler this coolerWorks like it is supposed to kept the drinks and food good and cold.I got a chance to test my tundra 65 this past weekend at an all-day outdoor event where temps fluctuated between 50-67 degrees. My Dad also brought his cheap Rubbermaid cooler so I figured it was a good opportunity to see just how much an additional $350 gives you. We packed both coolers nearly the same except with the Tundra I used Yeti Ice at the bottom (which is probably cheating but I wanted to see it at its most optimal set up). The event was on Saturday and today (Tuesday) there’s still about 2/3 ice in the Tundra whereas the Rubbermaid is all water. What’s interesting though is all of the ice in the Tundra is sitting on top of the Yeti ice packs and the small section that doesn’t have the Yeti ice is mostly water. Had we used Yeti ice on the bottom of the Rubbermaid as well id be curious to see what the result is.Needless to say, maintaining 2/3 of ice after 4 full days is pretty impressive and I’m happy with that even though I had to shell out extra cash for the ice packs. Whether or not the Tundra has anything to do with that or if any cooler would have performed the same is still up in the air. My gut tells me that any similar quality cooler (such as canyon or RTIC) would perform similar and at around $100 less.Highly recommend great productsWorth the money!LikeFantastic cooler no wonder they are the best in the world, I had mine in a baking hot black truck for 5 days and still had ice in it.Excellent construction and thermal properties as expected. can recommend this for all people who enjoy outdoor pursuits. A great product.Superb quality . I ordered another one . Havent tested the length of time it lasts. But will this weekend. So i filled it not full so I would have room to add beer in a couple days when i actually left to go camping . I opened it very few times maybe 8-10 quickly to steal a beer. I had a bunch in the fridge so i was at those first. 9 full days later there is enough cubes left to fill a glass. And the beer is icy cold. Monday noon filled it say 80% full until wednesday noon 9 days later, a handful left and very cold. Keeping the water makes it last way longer . Dont drain if you do not have to.love the construction however, did not hold ice any longer than the cheaper brands. We bought this cooler mainly for camping. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST INVESTMENT EVER!Works Excellent. Still had ice 3 days later. No more problems with spoiled food.I would highly recommend this cooler!Excellent Delivery service. Ordered in Fri. Had it Mon!Very Happy!
