I bought this to go to Yellowstone. I tried this by leaving it in my vehicle. I bought the 3 pack of ice sheets. I put 2 of the ice sheets in, I cut them to fit better. The ice sheets were not frozen completely when I put them in. I put them in at 10:40am. I went to work leaving the the backpack in the hot car. When I got off at 5 I checked it and the ice was still over half frozen. I put a can of tea in the bag and it was colder than when it came out of the fridge. I left the bag in the vehicle till the next day. I checked it at 11:00 am. It was still cold in the bag. The ice sheets were melted. The fit is nice. I'm on the bigger side so it still fits still have room to adjust it. Took to Yellowstone was great. Kept everything cold. Put several bottles of water. Candy and Gatorade. Fit nice. No problems with ripping. Kids kept jumping and stepping on it.
