We bought Clover B7A about a year ago as a replacement for our ageing GE dispenser. Unfortunately, it's difficult to notice any signs of progress or innovation for these devices. In fact, the opposite is true - they become simpler, with fewer features and of uniformly inferior quality. The GE unit had 3 spouts: hot, cold, and room temperature. Most of the devices produced today have only two (and few of those that do have three had such abysmal reviews that we didn't dare to try our luck). At the end, we settled on B7A.The first impression you get when unveiling B7A can be summarized with one word: cheap! All-plastic, barely wide enough to be stable, minimum parts, barely legible instructions. The only control available is a screw on the back one can use to control the cold water temperature.Apparently, that was not our lucky day, as the device turned out to be broken: the cold temperature control knob was not working and the water was dispensed at room temperature. Thanks to Amazon, the return process was relatively painless (if you consider as painless re-packaging the faulty unit and lugging it to FedEx). The replacement unit had the know working although after a couple months it stopped doing any fine control, so now offers only two kinds of cold water: ice cold and room temperature (there is no way to make it produce moderately cool water). At this point we put up with this simply because I'm not too eager to play the replacement game again (and possibly getting another dud).Lessons learned: this dispenser is of really inferior quality. Unfortunately other models seem to be not much better. If I were doing it all over again, I'd probably buy one from nearest Home Depot - at least returning it would not be as much hassle.
